Nokia E7 merupakan smartphone bisnis yang masuk ke dalam jajaran seri E dan menggunakan sistem operasi Symbian^3. Nokia E7 dilengkapi dengan layar sentuh berukuran 4 inci dengan menggunakan fitur terbaru yang diberi nama Nokia ClearBlack, yang memungkinkan tampilan layar tetap terlihat meski terkena sinar matahari langsung. 

Selain itu Nokia E7 dipersenjatai juga dengan QWERTY keyboard, memori internal 16GB, kamera 8 megapiksel dengan dual LED flash dan dukungan perekaman video HD 720p, konektivitas WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, aGPS dan WLAN positioning, dukungan HSDPA 10.2 Mb/s dan HSUPA 2 Mb/s, baterai berkapasitas 1200 mAh, port HDMI, Dolby Digital Plus Surround Sound dan dilengkapi dengan aplikasi seperti F-Secure AntiTheft, Quickoffice, World Traveler dan Ovi Maps.
